Major conti board manufacturer has new fire protection system installed
One of the leading UK manufacturers of conti board have authorised the installation of new Minimax fire protection systems on two of their existing presses.
This type of procedure is a high risk area and the Minimax system is designed to monitor the press and thermal oil pump areas and react to smoke and flame presence. Should a fire occur the Minimax system will deluge the area with a water foam mix before giving the fire time to spread.
